Where were you when:
1. JFK was assassinated (1963): I hadn't been born yet
2. Man first landed on the moon (1969): I probably watched it, but I was only three.
3. Watergate broke (1972): I remember the hearings, and the resignation of the President.
4. 3-Mile Island occurred (1979): I was in 7th grade, and heard about it on the news.
5. John Lennon was assassinated (1980): I was grounded, and my best friend ran over to my bedroom window to tell me the news.
6. The Shuttle Challenger exploded (1986): I was on the beach watching it. My third shuttle launch. :(
7. The Berlin Wall came down (1989): I think I was actually watching CNN when the story broke.
8. 9/11 (2001): I had just gotten home from work, and gone to bed when

Did you see the following movies in the theatre (or were at least around)?:
1. Sound of Music (1965): Not around yet.
2. The Godfather (1972): Not the kind of movie you take a 6 year old to see.
3. Star Wars – Episode 4 (1977): Oh, yeah! Front row, baby!
4. Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981): Yup. Probably with some friends from high school.
5. E.T. (1982): Yes, with family.

6. Braveheart (1995): Not in the theatre.
7. Lord of the Rings – The Fellowship of the Ring (2001): If it wasn't opening night, it was damn close.
1. What year did you graduate high school? 1984
2. What did you wear to your graduation (under your robe/gown)? Can't recall.
3. Was your hair long or short? As I recall, I had bushy hair.
4. What was the first concert you went to (without your parents)? Probably The Kinks at the Greek Theater.
5. Do you still know your high school’s alma mater? Never learned it. School spirit was not my strong point.
6. Were your Physical Ed. classes co-ed? Yes

Date: 4 Sep 2004 08:53 (UTC)ET evolved for a cold climate. Exposure to the SoCal sun left him nearly comatose, and looking bleached. Obviously he was suffering from sunstroke. Time in the government cooler perked him right up!
Given his preference for working at night, along with the large eyes, it can be surmised that their local star is a bit dimmer than Sol, possibly a G8 V or lower.
So we have a cool world with lots of water. It probably has a moon, since ET looks like a crteature that would evolve in tidal marshes.
