I'm a writer of RPGs; essays, and short fiction, a Deadhead, a Burner, a metal fan, a 49er and Giants fanatic, a cancer survivor, a science fiction fan ... I wear black all the time, not because I'm an artist, but because I have very little fashion sense. After suffering a stroke in 2013, I've been on the long road to recovery. I used to be a truck driver, dispatcher and served as an infantryman in the United States Army I've been married for 27 wonderful years to the lovely and very talented kshandra.

Thanks to my amazing friends and family, Kirsten and I were able to visit Istanbul for our 25th Anniversary. Amazing city, we need to go back.

Note on interests: Regardless of what ignorant morons have put as a "rule of thumb" in a sidebar to the interests list, the word "interest" does not mean "liking" or "approval". It means that I am interested in discussing a topic. For example, my interests list contains the word "censorship", which I thoroughly disapprove of. It also contains "La Marseillaise" in spite of the fact that the chorus could easily be misconstrued by ignorant morons as a death threat against my enemies. I don't necessarily approve of that sentiment; I just like the song. Got it?
