New Bear!

kshandra bought me a new Giants bear! He's wearing the gray away uniform, a batting helmet, and is holding a bat in his right paw. Number 0 on the back. His fur is a lovely cream color.

Now I need a name for him. We already have a bear named for Yorvit Torrealba.. maybe A.J. Bearzynski?

Two contrary tendencies are at war in my brain.

First is my deep and heartfelt aversion to all things sports-related, which tries to make me tune out even the most basic information about sports.

Second is my passion for trivia, which tries to make me memorize every little info-nugget I run across.

Combine the two and you end up with a brain that contains a surprising number of sports factoids, names, dates, and so forth, but nearly all of them hanging in empty conceptual space, isolated from any context or meaning.

It's interesting to be me.
