I get ideas in the weirdest places.
Apr. 13th, 2004 02:35 pmI was watching the A&E series Airline. If you don't watch, it's about the daily activities of Southwest Airlines employess at Chicgo and LAX. Most of it it is, of course, bitchy customers.
But they look like they're having a good time. Hmm..
So I've filled out an application to be a flight attendant.
I love people. Dealing with people going to new places was one of my favorite things about being at SuperShuttle. Hell, I like going new places! I remember dealing with the flight crews from US Air. They were mostly tired or happy when I took them to their hotels.
I don't want to be a cashier forever. I want to do something again. I'm 37. It's time for a change. My health is as good as it will ever get. Kirsten has been fighting a couple of nasty infections for a week, and I haven't gotten anything. I haven't seized in a *year* and am on lower med levels. And nobody is hiring police dsipatchers.
