For all of you rendered speechless by "Racial Holy War" I must report that thankfully, at least one person was not.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have found a review of that piece of tripe. Ten times better than the game. WARNING: Strong language.

Nevermore

As I sit typing, suddenly I hear the most awful noise from outside. I look, and there is a big black bird sitting there. A crow or raven. He just sits there giving me the eye.

Cool with me, I like having him around.

Sometimes, those of us who are sane posters in alt.conspiracy (a small group, be assured) just get silly. The following exchange came out of a long pointless thread claiming that Mossad nuked the World Trade Center.

For once, I think I found this first. The D&D 3rd Edition Alignment Test

I came out as: Lawful Good

A lawful good character acts as a good person is expected or required to act. She combines a commitment to oppose evil with the discipline to fight relentlessly. She tells the truth, keeps her word, helps those in need, and speaks out against injustice. A lawful good character hates to see the guilty go unpunished. Lawful good is the best alignment you can be because it combines honor and compassion.

This afternoon I bought my tickets for the Great November Trek to see [livejournal.com profile] eleri and attend OryCon. $92 round trip on Greyhound. This is the most money I've just spent on myself in years in one drop. It feels very odd.

Also odd is the sensation of having a girlfriend. When we first became poly, it was because of what cancer did to my sex drive. I really never thought I'd get it back! But it's here, and dropping hints about "making up for lost time." Who am I to argue?

I'll be in the Portland area from November 18th to the 25th. A nice little vacation.

To quote The American President, "My nervousness exists on many levels..."

Of course, now that I've spent the money, Foster City is going to hire me Monday
