Jun. 27th, 2002 05:27 amYesterday, my results came in the mail. 97th percentile. Jesus Christ and two draft choices, I had no idea I did that well! I left the test thinking "next time I'll do a little better."
To put this in perspective, the LAPD has the highest percentile requirement in the state at an 85%. I blew that requirement away (although you'd need screaming demons to drag me to Dodger (spit) town.)
The funny thing was there was a message on the voice mail yesterday from the SSF communications manager, saying that they would be scheduling sit-alongs once they had the test results, and to call them when I received mine. Guess I'm calling back later today...
The director at the test said if we got a high enough score, expect our phones to ring off the hook from agencies wanting to hire us. I find it very odd to contemplate that government agencies would be out to hire me. We'll see.
97th percentile. Damn!
