Date: 27 Jan 2011 20:51 (UTC)We went door to door to businesses dropping off catalogs and sign up sheets for people to order products. The "Lead Sales Manager" that I spent the day with tried to get secretaries to do sales for him.
He stressed we weren't selling anything.
What I got out of it was about 5 hours of exercise, and the knowledge that I wanted nothing to do with these people.
I'm sure they're adding value to a paradigm somewhere while they leverage their experience to create a new fusion of access and success for their clients.
