A pleasant surprise

While playing around with Internet radio, I came across a little station in Ft. Bragg (a bit north of here on the California coast) that is one of the few stations left that plays the Dr. Demento show. I tuned in to see what kind of sound quality I could get and found that they were replaying "The King Biscuit Flower Hour" with Supertramp. You whippersnappers won't remember, but listening to KBFH was very important back in the day. It might be the only way you got to hear Y&T for example.
Y&T? You know the band? You don't know Y&T? Cultural wasteland, I tell ya.
Go 'way kids, and let me reminese about when you had Tower Records in one half of the building, and Tower Posters and Plants in the other. And you'd spend hours pouring over the imports section trying to find Weird Shit from England(tm)
