gridloreThe Giants defeated the Houston Astros to clinch the National League Wild Card playoff berth.
Highlights: Barry Bonds smashing a homerun into the bay. A line shot that you knew from impact was not coming down anytime soon.
The Giants' pitching staff, which got out of several tight situations.
Tom Goodwin's 2-out pinch-hit double that scored two runs.
Jeff Kent's triple.
Now, we face the Atlanta Braves. We played them seven times this year, with a 3-3 record (one game called due to rain, and not made up.)
