The Giants defeated the Houston Astros to clinch the National League Wild Card playoff berth.
Highlights: Barry Bonds smashing a homerun into the bay. A line shot that you knew from impact was not coming down anytime soon.
The Giants' pitching staff, which got out of several tight situations.
Tom Goodwin's 2-out pinch-hit double that scored two runs.
Jeff Kent's triple.
Now, we face the Atlanta Braves. We played them seven times this year, with a 3-3 record (one game called due to rain, and not made up.)
GO GIANTS!!

I think the key will be for us to stop leaving so many men on base, and keep Atlanta from making the big plays. This one is going to be close, but I say we take i
