gridloreWhat a season to be a baseball fan! The Giants are on a nine game winning streak, powered by some excellent trades, the NL West race has three teams within one game of the lead! Barry Bonds is make a serious run at the single-season homerun record, and my other team, the Cubbies, are also doing well.
In That Other League, The Mariners are making it look easy. After all the head-scratching trades they made over the last few years, it is interesting to see them on top. By a mile. I mean, seriously.. a 20 game lead?
My predictions? Giants-Cubs in the NLCS. Giants take it in five. Yankees-Mariners in the ALCS. Mariners sweep the Yanks. Giants take the World Series in six games.
