As many of you know, I collect kook websites. I consider the internet to be like a zoo, I can observe the dangerous and creepy beasties with a safe barrier between me and them. Over the years, I've become a bit jaded. Hell, Ann Coulter's website barely gets a reaction from me anymore.

Then I found Sam Gipp. Sam runs "A Friend To Church Ministries" He is so far out there that we in alt.atheism thought this was a parody site. Then some intrepid members did some searching and found out this is all for real. This guy is insane. Here are some of the more amusing rants from his articles section.

Americans Are Ready - Racism, isolationism, and all those other "Christian values" that you can't find in the Bible.

It's Time For A "Holy War!" - More racism, and declarations that America is only for white Christians.

Our Marvelous Interstate Highways - Wonderfully incoherent rant on how liberals hate the interstate highway system, and how if you find the highway boring, you're a traitor or something, married to a 7th-grade essay on the features of the system. I'd love to see the "four lane highway beginning at its front gate connecting it to the interstate highway system" at Schofield Barracks, HI.

How I Know That "Global Warming" Is A Lie - Oh, my. Ignorance personified, and a dig at San Francisco as a bonus! This moron thinks that more UV getting to us is a good thing!

Actually, the main highways in Hawaii (when I was there, it was just the H1, but now I think there are a couple others) are designated as "Interstates." Really. Truly. Had something to do with the federal funding involved, IIRC.

The main gate at Schofield opened onto Kunia Road, which was a two-lane street. About a mile down that road was the merge onto H2 which stayed a 2 lane road until you got close to Honolulu, where it spread out into four lanes.

There are four interstate highways on Oahu (http://www.hawaiihighways.com/FAQs-page4.htm#H-201), including a loop route H-201. "Interstate" highways have nothing to do with whether they connect states and everything to do with how they are funded. In fact, both Alaska and Puerto Rico also have (unsigned) interstate route numbers.

But yes, that guy is buggier than a bum's bedroll.

Hrm...

Come to think of it... The Main Gate at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, 29 Palms (a subset of the entities defined as "ALL Military Bases") is roughly 45 miles from the nearest Interstate...

Curious that... Guess the Marines aren't really "Military"... *shrug*

I seem to recall grunting a lot, too.
