I've made contact with Area Truck Driving School to see about starting a class to get my Class A. I hope to be able to visit their campus next weekend.

The Niners lost in a close game. One very questionable call that negated a SF touchdown and the decision not to go for it on 4th and an eyelash cost us. But more than the loss, the idiots calling the game annoyed me.

The name of the city is San Francisco. Four syllables. Same number as San Diego. So why are y'all incapable of pronouncing the final two portions of the city's name? "San Fran" is not acceptable, any more than calling Jacksonville "Jackson" would be. The only contraction we use is "SF." ess-eff. Learn it.

I'm re-reading The Grapple, and I think I spotted Richard Nixon appearing as an Army grunt looking for bugs in a Congresswoman's office.

It's cold and raining. I'm not looking forward to driving tomorrow.

Preach it brother!

Also, good luck with the class A.

I heard that game as well, while falling asleep after my long train trip, and had the same reaction to that announcer. I told myself, "At least he didn't call it 'Frisco.'"

Heh. I was going to reply "So, I shouldn't call it Frisco?"
