Technocrat

Yeah, that sounds just about right.

Welcome to the Technocracy. You must be really good at something like biology, or physics, or computer engineering. Or maybe you just wish you were, and are willing to become cannon fodder for the forces of reason in an attempt to learn more. Who knows? Maybe you just like being cannon fodder, anyway.

That said, there's really a good chance that you're very intelligent, willing to fight for what you believe in, and can make a real impact on those around you. Some people might find you to focused and cold-hearted - but that's not obligatory. You can combat the forces of magic without being mean. Magic, bah! Silly superstitions and reality deviants!

Sort of figured I'd end up as one of the Mage groups. The Technocracy, for the non-gamers out there, are the bad guys of the setting.

No, the Technos are the good guys. Out of all the Mage factions, they are the _only_ ones who have done anything to make life better for the average mortal. If a few monstrous predators or selfish elitists have to be eliminated in the process, well, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

Well put.

The fact that the Penguinator appears to be spouting Reality Deviant propaganda is cause for grave concern and calls into doubt the use of Antarctic waterfowl as platforms for cybernetic enhancement.

We prefer "sympathetic rivals."
