Did you get the penguin I emailed you this morning?

Yup. You know me, Firefox, Agent, Eudora in that order. So I saw the SFGate story before my mail downloaded.

I should have gone, by the way... Central Valley every day this week. :P

Oh, Morris really misses you, and is refusing to let anyone sleep in your spot.

One of these years I'll remember that - it's the exact opposite order from what I use, so it's counterintuitive.

Ew. Next year. ([livejournal.com profile] redtheda LOVES the idea of the "Holy Crap Lions! Tours" bus, btw.)

Awww...I miss him, too. Flip isn't quite sure what to make of all the damn dust, yet. I should take him over to Cooltown (where the penguin car lives) for a visit.

(BTW, it's actually Maurice. Says so on his tag if you can still read it. I just pronounce it Morris in honor of Maurice Gibb, who passed away the week Mr. Mouse came into my life. Because I'm really a 40-year-old gay man. Or so one of the IT guys declared this week after getting a taste of my musical preferences.)

It was waiting in my tent when I got home from work last night - thank you so very much! It was better than $WINTERHOLIDAY, I tell you; I think they had to chisel the grin off my face before I went to bed.

Well, I figured the thermos thing would be useful. And the fan would be either useful or a good joke. Finally, I figured that the waterproof thing on the lanyard should be both sweat *and* sand proof. :-)

Can I get a heads-up for next year?

The kids would love it, for sure.

I'll try to keep an eye on their breeding program, but it isn't overly scheduled - you know how kids are.
