kshandra sailed off on the annual trip to That Thing In The Desert last night. She's in Oakland now, and will be heading up with her ride today.Of course the actual packing was traumatic. I swear, next year I'm going to sit on her until she types up a packing checklist, and we will have everything laid out and checked off 12 hours prior to her departure. She almost forgot to take her bears!
*sigh* I miss her already.

Another thought that I've sometimes had on my camping trips: revise the list while I'm there. I have not done it yet though -- so I still use the old one when it comes to packing & then try to remember any changes (eg: backpacking vs. car camping vs. SCA camping).
