I remember reading, though I don't remember the titles, a Hammer's Slammer's story and a Spider Robinson story during Jim Baen's editorship of Galaxy. Those two stories left very vivid images with me and confirmed me as a science fiction fan during a period of great upheaval in my life.
I am, in part, the person I am because of Jim Baen.
