Giants playing in Houston. Astros fans boo Bonds. Cheer when he strikes out. Wave signs claiming he's destroying baseball.

Bonds is pulled in the 7th inning for Jason Ellison in left field.

Astros fans leave in droves. Really, you cannot believe how fast this place is emptying!

What you want Logic From Fans? Oh, come now. :)

I just hope Bonds does the next two soon. Preferably in SF in a winning game.

It is sad to see people treating him so shabbly. Over rumors that can't be proven.

Do I want Barry Bonds to break Hank Aaron's record? No. Having said that, I think any "asterisk" proposals are absurd.

Do I give a flying fornication if Barry Bonds breaks Ruth's old record? No. It didn't bother me when Bonds broke Roger Maris's old record; why should I care about him breaking Ruth's old record?

Would I boo Barry Bonds? Only if he had engaged in unsportsmanlike conduct during the season series between the two teams. Even then, I'd be reluctant.

Would I leave a Redbirds/Giants game if Barry Bonds was pulled from the game in the seventh inning, with the real (Aaron) record on the line? Not just no, but Hell, no! I'd stay until my Cardinals had nailed down the win, or had gone to the last at-bat trying.
