13. Indigo Girls - Closer to Fine
14. Green Day - Macy's Day Parade
15. Great Big Sea - Greenspond
Why do you like the 1st song?
I love Sandman.. the lyrics are fantastic, one of the best guitar intros in history. The S&M version is perfection.
Who does the 2nd song remind you of?
This girl I knew among the local Deadheads. Never learned her real name, but we all called her Autumn. She loved that song.
Name your favorite lyric from the 3rd song.
Do you have any special memories attached to the 4th song?
Not really. It's just one of Metallica's better songs.
Do you relate personally to the 5th song?
Sort of. As a former soldier, I have my own feelings about the Masters of War.
Does/would your grandmother like the 6th song?
Hell, NO
What did you think when you first heard the 7th song?
"This is a very complex, layered song.. and it's about the Third Battle of Ypres? Cool!"
What color does the 8th song remind you of?
Lavender. Hospital green.
What is the 9th song about?
Departures, enduring friendship, and well, time.
Does the 10th song get stuck in your head easily?
The coda does. The song is close to 13 minutes long and is a bit of an epic - so it doesn't really have a catchy theme to get stuck.
Could you play the 11th song for a toddler and not feel guilty?
Absolutely.
Is the singer of the 12th song hot?
Not really my type.
What part of your life does the 13th song describe best?
My search for contentment.
Does the 14th song have a cool video?
I'm not sure it has a video.
How old is the 15th song?
The album it is on came out in 1997. I'm assuming they had it in their playlist for a year or two before that.
Which of these is your favorite?
#3 Thunderstruck. This one shakes the arena when they play it.
Your least favorite?
#15 Greenspond I'm still warming to Great Big Sea.
Have any of these made you cry? Which ones? (Be honest. It's ok, trust me.)
#11 Time After Time. After a break-up.
Which is the most personal for you?
#6 Summertime Blues

Name your favorite lyric from the 3rd song.
I was caught,
In the middle of a railroad track!
(Thunder!)
I looked 'round,
And I knew there was no turnin' back!
(Thunder!)
My mind raced,
And I thought, "What could I do?"
(Thunder!)
And I knew,
There was no help, no help from you!
(Thunder!)
