Shall we get out stories straight?

gridloreAbout a week and a half ago, I went into work early for yet another meeting, this one about changes to our benefits. At the time, I asked "do we need to select our doctors and dentists when we submit the paperwork?" We already had selected primary care physicians, but in the Dental PPO we weren't assigned dentists.. just go to anyone on the list. So that was a concern in changing plans.
No, I was assured, you can select care givers at a later date.
Fast forward to today. I worked six days last week, so I was due a day off, and today was it. Until my phone rang. Seems I did need to chose a dentist... and do it before 1600 EST. So Kiri and I drove all the way to Fremont to fill out forms I thought I had filled out already.
Annoying.

n_1_n, who isn't feeling well, as a favor to murphymom. If it wasn't for us being broke (waiting on my direct deposit and Kiri's check from unemployment) we would have gone to see Narnia. But instead we just came home. I finally wrapped her presents, and just need to grab goodies for her stocking.
Other than doing a few loads of laundry, I'm spending today in mortal combat with Nethack.
