Err. actually, it won't be biting anything. Since we're discussing the loss of yet another tooth.

Yes folks, my trip to being known for my ability to gum tacos is proceeding nicely. This time, a bottom incisor decided it couldn't take hearing Live After Death again and made the leap for freedom. ("Freedom," in this case, being defined as the bathroom wastebasket.)

I'm actually really upset about this one, as it leaves a huge gap. But, being me, I overcompensate with humor.

And we still haven't heard if the insurance paperwork even arrived at HR.

Anybody want to buy me about three grand in dental work for Solstice?

Is there a reason...

... you are losing teeth? I could easily have missed some other comment which explains it, I suppose.

Ten years ago I went through massive chemotherapy for Stage IV-B Hodgkin's Disease. At the time, I was told that one long-term effect was gum deteriation, and the resultant loss of teeth.

At this point, I've lost about a dozen.

I thought you had dental coverage with your new job?

Yes, but we got the paperwork in late, and didn't know until today that the coverage has kicked in.

Boy, is this new dentist of mine in for a shock...
