gridloreYesterday, my Podzilla decided that hydraulic fluid looked better on the truck deck, as opposed to in the hoses where it belongs. So today my truck is in Time Out at the garage.
So I "worked" in the warehouse. With almost nothing that actually needed doing. The first two hours of the day was an all-hands meeting with our regional manager, a semi-regular event. Then while everyone else took off in poddish glee, I sat around, power-swept the warehouse, did some forklift work, and chatted with my manager.
Eight hours pay, and I'm better rested than I normally am after a good night's sleep. It got pretty boring, since I forgot to bring my book along.
