Today I did all our pick-ups and drops (except for one where Chris took over, because it was obvious the container had been moved and we needed to dig it out.) After the last pick up, he told me I was ready to go out on the road and do the job.
Being me, there was an immediate voice in my head screaming "No! I'm not ready!" but truth is, I am ready. I'm comfortable with Podzilla (and am no longer wandering all over the place when I try to walk it on or off a pod), I'm getting much better with the truck, and the paperwork and customer relations stuff is old hat.
Now all I need is a truck to open up. Being at the bottom of the totem pole, I'll probably get one of the older ones while the more senior guys get the new ones coming our way. No biggie.
