I've been playing on the vehix.com site, and have decided that I want a Mini Cooper. Great little cars, economical as all hell, and affordable if Kiri and I start making some better money.

They're lots of fun to drive, but obviously aren't the roomiest things out there. I doubt my younger brother (6'4", 225lbs) would be too comfortable in one.

You might be surprised... the most comfortable car I've owned was a Suzuki Swift. I had more leg room (I'm a hair under 6' and built big) than any other car I've owned. It was much more comfortable to drive than my Ford Exploder. The passenger seat folded all the way back to the rear seats, so it was comfortable on long road trips. The only thing I didn't like was that it didn't have power steering. It made parallel parking a bitch, and had a wide turn radiusm. The aforementioned Exploder was easier to park and made tighter turns.
My 6'5" brother liked it too.

*nod* We had a Geo Metro (the same body as the Swift), and it was absurdly roomy. I couldn't get behind the wheel of the Geo Storm, though, even with the seat back all the way. I'd be similarly worried with a Mini.

My dream is still to get a PT Cruiser - I've ridden in them, and they're so comfortable it's pathetic. ;-)

Oh, the mini parks and turns like a dream, it's wonderful.

(I love Zipcar, it lets me drive lots of cars that I couldn't otherwise afford.)
