1. Portland, Oregon City of Roses
Not bad, I've been there and enjoyed it greatly. But

2. Little Rock, Arkansas Where America Comes Together
Uh, no. I'm not living in the South again.
3. Hartford, Connecticut The Insurance Capital
Nice place, saw the Dead there years ago. But 42" of snow a year? I'll pass.
4. Providence, Rhode Island New England’s Best Kept Kept Secret
I don't believe in Rhode Island.
5. New Haven, Connecticut Home of Yale University
Never been there. Again, snow is a problem.
6. Baton Rouge, Louisiana The Cajun Capital
Red Stick!

7. New Orleans, Louisiana The Crescent City
The Big Sleazy. Hurricanes, Humidity, and the most corrupt police force in the nation. Pass.
8. Las Vegas, Nevada Entertainment Capital of the World
I wouldn't mind living in Vegas, actually.
9. Honolulu, Hawaii America’s Tropical Paradise
No. I'm allergic to Oahu. I could probably hack living on the Big Island though.
10. Worcester, Massachusetts The Heart of the Commonwealth
I refuse to live anyplace I can't spell.
11. Sacramento, California The River City
Way too hot in the summer.
12. Eugene, Oregon The Emerald City
Another good choice.
13. Corvallis, Oregon Heart of the Willamette Valley
Interesting. I've heard some great things about Corvallis.
14. Baltimore, Maryland The Sparkling Harbor City
One advantage: a winning baseball team!
15. Boston, Massachusetts America’s Walking City
Another place I wouldn't mind living, except of course for the winters.
16. Salem, Oregon The Heart of Oregon
This website is determined to get me to move to Oregon.
17. Washington, District of Columbia The World's Greatest Capital
I wouldn't mind living in DC, except for the insane weapons laws and the fact I'd be that close to Bush.
18. San Francisco, California The Golden Gate City
Well, duh.
19. Medford, Oregon Gateway to the Pacific Northwest
Is there any major Oregon city that didn't make my list?
20. San Jose, California The Silicon Capital
Well, I live here now, so this isn't too surprising.
21. Alexandria, Louisiana The Crossroads of Louisiana
Never heard of it.
22. Long Beach, California LA’s Ocean Playground
Far too close to Dodger Stadium.
23. Shreveport-Bossier City, Louisiana Cities of Three Flags
Again with the South!
24. Fayetteville, Arkansas Light of the Ozarks
I drove through Arkansas once. Once.
Of course, with three exceptions, none of these places are close enough to SBC Park for my tastes.

If you consider *Medford* a "major city", the so are places like The Dalles, Bend, Pendleton, etc.
Basicly, we've got the Portland Metro area, the Eugene area, and then you start getting into small cities/large towns.
