I hear you knocking on this one. I just missed out on a job myself. I was well qualified for it, but the company ended up filling it internally. They are laying off a lot of first line customer service people on Friday (jobs being outsourced) and the job went to one of the ones on the block.
The only thing this company doesn't seem to be outsourcing is marketing. Which is strange, because it's never been one of their strong points...
