I just got home from a non-interview. Remember the call I got about ten days ago? The one for the driving job where the interviewer was going out of town?
They called yesterday, and set up an interview for today. DMV printout in hand, I head out to Mt. View.
The only good thing about this day was having Holiday start just as I hit Hwy 85. Damn, but that's an excellent driving song!
But anyway. . . I get to this place, go in, start filling out the application, when "Wally" comes out. He has some bad news. They filled the job. Yesterday!
These stoners called and emailed me yesterday! Do they not talk to each other? Would it have killed them to call me this morning?
Utterly unprofessional. If this is how they run their business, it's probably a good thing I didn't get hired. After all, we all know how low my tolerance is for morons.

Sorry to hear it. This was really unprofessional of them. =(
