I'm feeling your pain. The CEO of the startup I was at decided that making his Lexus payments was more important that keeping half the engineering staff of a technology based company (did I say that outloud?).
I've had a couple of interesting interviews, but they were not good fits (one would have driven me crazy rather quickly, since it was obvious to me that I could have done my job and the managers job better than the manager was doing just his. I'll bet he figured that out too, so that's why I'm still doing the Domestic Deity thing).
The job will come. That is the nature of jobs. For all my complaints about the way the last company I was at was run, I'm still glad I did it. I got to work with some really cool and way fucking smart people and literally did things no one else did. I also got to work at art museums instead of corporate netwoking centers, which was a damn nice change.
