Amusing moment last night at work

This made me laugh last night.

Among the other things we sell at CPWM, we have these giant lollipops. These bastards must weigh two pounds, cost ten bucks, and are strawberry flavored. (Ew.)

Anyway, I'm doing the Bored Register Monkey dance, chatting with one of my managers, when this little boy comes wandering up looking at things. He sees the Mega-Sucker, and his eyes get really BIG. You can see the saliva glands kick into overdrive. He stands there a minute, turns and runs over to his dad who was perusing one of the collectibles pods.

"Daddy! You said I could get one piece of candy, right?"

Manager and I lost it right there. Kid ended up with a couple of candies.

He's going to be a lawyer someday.
