gridloreMegas XLR is by far one of the best cartoons on TV today. Consistently funny, poking fun at both the conventions of the genre (anime-0style giant robot battles) and our own culture.
Short form: Jersey City gearhead and slacker friend find a giant robot from the future in a junkyard. Coop, the gearhead, modifies the robot. Then the owners come looking for it, then the aliens it was meant to fight show up...
Tonight, Coop accidently loads a Galactic Prison cartridge into his X-box, thinking it's a video game. This releases dozens of world-beating monsters. Hilarity ensues.
What moved me to post about it was the main monster looked suspiciously like The Tarrasque of D&D fame.
