My Niners made it to the Superbowl, for the second straight years against the Kansas City Chiefs.

It was a tough game, and KC scored with 1:38 left in the 4th to take a 38 - 34 lead. The ensuing kickoff resulted in a touchback, so I needed to drive 60 yards in about a minute with no time outs. Peyton Manning kept throwing to his number one receiver, Justin Muhammed, for gains of 10 to 20 yards. Finally I had the ball first and 10 on KC's 25 yard line with seconds to go.. I snapped the ball with one second on the clock.. manning faded back, scanned his four receivers, saw Muhammed break open in the end zone and fired the ball. Muhammed makes a leaping catch, taking a vicious hit..

AND HE HOLDS ON TO THE BALL!!! TOUCHDOWN, 49ERS!!!!!!!!eleventy-one!

Final score:

San Francisco 49ers: 41
Kansas City Chiefs: 38

seriously, to me that play ranks up there with The Catch and the Redemption. Pity it was all virtual...

Definitely a pity. Chiefs haven't even made it into the playoffs in god knows when in rl. (she says posting from Independence, MO, within stomping distance of the stadium)

Hey, they gave me a good fight. That go-ahead TD was scored by Duce Staley on a 78 yard run. He had over 200 yards on the day.
