1. What's the oldest possession you own? The Ladysmith Bombshell, a collection of the newsletter produced by British troops besieged at Ladysmith, South Africa during the Boer War. Among these troops was my great-grandfather, Drum-Sergeant Jack Berry. On the title page, he wrote a note to my great-grandmother, saying he would be home "as soon as the Army arraignes passage." The book dates to 1900. I also have great-grandpa's medals, which include service medals for campaigns in India while Victoria was queen.
2. What one possession have you owned the longest? Some of my gaming materials date back to the seventies, and I've been hauling them around all this time.
3. What's the most expensive possession you own? Probably the computer.
4. What's the most precious (to you) possession you own? My infantry blue cord.
5. What's the rarest possession you own? Hard to say. I own some pretty obscure, hard to find Traveller materials.
6. What's the oddest, strangest, or silliest possession you own? My Walk'er. A bright orange rubber chicken with the Giants logo on it.
7. What's the newest possession you own (not food)? GURPS Fantasy
8. Which of your possessions most sums up your personality? The motorcycle model made out of pipe and wire.
