gridloreI came home from work early last night, felt extremely sick and was barely able to get out the door before tossing my cookies. After warming up in the shower, I decided to play Madden. My Niners had made it into the NFC Championship game in the 2015 season. So I played that, won, and went on to the Superbowl against the Miami Dolphins.
Yes, the two worst teams in the real NFL faced off in the Maddenverse Superbowl. And it was a shootout!
San Francisco 49ers: 54
Miami Dolphins: 40
The two teams combined for over 1,100 yards of offense. While the Fins passed for close to 500 yards (and four INTs) I played a more balanced game, with HB Ken Wayne piling up 222 yards on the ground, including a spectacular 80-yard touchdown dash in the 3rd quarter. QB Shelvin Fulcher threw 4 TD passes, and my defense stopped the Dolphins running game cold (67 yards total rushing for them.)
Today, I have one last shift, then I'm done with the pre-Christmas insanity.
