I need rumors. For the Trojan Reach book.

What I need specifically is false rumors. Things I can put in to disguise the real rumors. This is where your fertile imaginations come in.

Make up a rumor for me. It should be general, and refer to a region of space that nobody knows too much about. Examples:

There's a world out there where they perform human sacrifices on top of a temple, but they aren't primitives, they have spaceships!

The government is searching all the ships coming back from X. Several ships have been confiscated, and the crews held without any hearing.

Things like that. Use WiQ in place of planet names, PiQ for rumors about people. I'll Travellerize them for the book.

SiQ = Ship class in Question :)

All the PiQ from WiQ have this weird plague... nothing happens until the next local full moon, and then they turn into were-creatures.

WiQ is shooting down any ships of class SiQ... they're rumoured to cause severe atmosphere pollution due to an engine malfunction

WiQ is offlimits... any ship orbiting that planet seems to self destruct without reason, severe message pods have been found

There was a whole Zhodani fleet in orbit around WiQ a couple months ago.

Be careful about what you sign on WiQ...my cousin's friend's shipmate filled out some form to get a berth for his trader, and ended up married to the port master's son!

The WiQ is a strict Matriarchy, malePiQ emergency landed there a while back, and hasn't been heard from since.

Only one PiQ from WiQ has ever been sighted, and the guy who saw him went stark ravers.

Whatever you do, don't go fortune-hunting on WiQ--it looks like easy pickings because no one lives there, but the place is haunted. Knew a guy who came back with white hair and no treasure and now all he'll talk to is his beer.

Have you seen the swamps on WiQ? They have mosquitos the size of [ship class]! I hear every third fellow who ships out there dies from some nasty marsh fever.

Someone told me that PiQ knows who to talk to about getting your ship through WiQ's quarantine. Pass the word.

PiQ is searching for WiQ, says it called Terror or Dirt. Claims it's the fabled home of all humans.

There's this PiQ who tells these great stories about his life. Only thing is, if you add up all the time, it's several centuries worth of life. He must have the secret of imortality.

WiQ does brain transplants. If you're rich enough, you can get young body. Even a sex change if you want it.
