SC1: "We have a high-scoring game here, just five minutes into the 2nd quarter."

SC2: "It's nice to see people people out enjoying themselves after Hurricane Ivan.. not that Ivan hit New Orleans, it didn't even come close. But it really hit the Gulf Coast in Florida and Alabama. A lot of damage there."

I'd enjoy sports a whole lot more in the "announcers" would *shut the heck up*.

One of the reasons I like the Giants TV team, Mike Krukow andDuane Kuiper (Kruk and Kuip), is they are both former players (pitcher and 2nd base) who played for the Giants. So you get a player's perspective, and they have great senses of humor.
