Going Old School

Most people familiar with me and the Grateful Dead know that I date from the early eighties as a Head. My era was Brent Mydland, sweeping organ and those rough vocals on songs like Tons of Steel (which I need as an mp3, damnit!) and We Can Run. My era was less about forty minute free-form jams and electric blues than tight sets and excellent performances.
But man does not live by eighties Dead alone. Occasionally, one just needs an infusion of Pigpen.
Hence, tonights's musical selection.. The Grateful Dead, live in Tampa, Fl, 12/19/73.
I'm going to dance for a bit.
