I was at work for an hour today before my lower GI track made it clear that it wanted to vacation in a room featuring indoor plumbing. We were extremely overstaffed (Cost Plus seems to run in two speeds.. "nobody here but me and the manager" and "everyone on the payroll plus their friends.") Since we were training the new furniture guy on register today, and since people are sick of the alleged first cashier vanishing to do other things the moment someone else signs on (wether or not that person is supposed to ring) my manager had no problem cutting me loose.

So now, I'm home. Wheee. I'll probably be in bed before 1800.
