Very little changed.

Gay Marriage Saturday 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Carmel
Fifty years ago, the very concept of blacks and whites intermarrying was scandalous, and, in some states, unlawful. Did San Francisco break the law, or was it just ahead of the curve? Will we look back in 50 years and wonder what all the fuss was about?
Vera Nazarian, Jane Mailander (Moderator), Kevin Roche, Annalee Newitz, Douglas Berry, Randy Smith

Surviving Cancer Sunday 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monterey

How Do You Fight a Stateless Enemy? Sunday 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Cedar

Michael Sarkisian (Moderator), Ed Green, Wolf Read, Kim McKinzey, Douglas Berry, Richard F. Dutcher

The Meaning of Marriage Sunday 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Carmel
How has marriage evolved? Where is it going? With all the changes going on in our definition of marriage, how does that change (or not) what marriage means to couples and to society?
Trystan L. Bass, Ctein, Laura Majerus (Moderator), Douglas Berry, Rick Moen, Sandra Saidak

Iraq: Why the War?Monday 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Cedar
We were told about the Weapons of Mass Destruction. We weren't told about the hidden agendas. A frank discussion about how we got into the war, and what we're going to have to do to get out.
Ed Green (Moderator), Raymond "Buzz" Nelson, Douglas Berry, Richard F. Dutcher

Looking at the rest of the schedule, I see only a few things I'll miss because of my panel commitments. Just need to finish up my research on the panels I'm moderating first, and then a little work on the others.

See y'all at the con!

After reviewing the current schedule (http://www.baycon.org/2004/schedule) and cross-referencing your panels, Howard Hendrix' panels ([livejournal.com profile] ataniell93 wants to attend all Hendrix events) and other popular con events (such as Meet the Guests, Con-Attendees:The Masquerade and the main dances), it looks as if Saturday night is the best time for the Trav party. The Masquerade is the main competition that night, and that is scheduled to end around 2300 hours.

Any objections?

That's what I was figuring. Open around 2100. I'm going to promote this as the "Last Second Party." We'll put together some new CDs, bring the usual chips, soda and salsa, and other than that just hang out and do a relax-a-party.

Oh, as far as the football game... How about your choise of Rams v. the 1984 49ers?
