Got to see the final game of spring today, though Kiri was ill and could not attend. Long bus ride up, ended up selling the spare ticket to a scalper (I'm good), and enjoyed a thrilling, down-to-the-last pitch

What a rip. After a great game, they announce that since tomorrow is opening day, the game would end after the regulation nine innings. Pity they announced that after the end of the ninth. You couldn't of gotten a louder boo out of that crowd if you announced that Tommy Lasorda had been hired to play Krazy Krab.
Ah, well. A new season dawns! New hopes! New dreams! At least three Giants who aren't on the DL already!
