Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says.
Ha! Page 18 in Everything is Under Control is blank!
Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?
A TV tray doing double duty as an auxiliary desk..
What is the last thing you watched on TV?
Well, I just had the set on to see if the Giants-A's game was still going. But the last sit down and watch time was last night for Stargate SG-1 on SciFi.

With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?
Traffic outside, I Feel Like a Woman from the apartment next door, kids playing in the alley, and my neighbors discussing the upcoming baseball season.
When did you last step outside? What were you doing?
Going to work this morning. About 0930.
Before you came to this website, what did you look at?
The phone message light to see if anyone had called while I was out.
What are you wearing?
Grey Airborne t-shirt, blue jeans, black socks and my black shoes. white jockeys, if you must know. Watch and wedding ring, to be a completist.
Did you dream last night?
Yes
When did you last laugh?
About an hour ago at work.
What is on the walls of the room you are in?
Posters, artwork, calendars, the key rack, my old tip sign, a clock.
Seen anything weird lately?
I work in retail. Weird is a daily occurrence. Oddest was the two ladies buying a six-pack of Sapporo. One of the ladies held up one of the cans, and exclaimed "This would make a fun dildo!" Then she remembered she was in a crowded import store on a Saturday afternoon.
Define "weird". :-)
Me, among other things. Things that make you stop and evaluate, because the item event doesn't fit your expected pattern of events.
What do you think of this quiz?
Kind of fun.
What is the last film you saw?
In the theater, Reflections of A Burning Man, a documentary about the annual festival. On DVD, The Matrix
If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?
Well, after getting all the bills paid and money invested, my first fun thing would be memberships and good hotel rooms for the next three World Science Fiction Conventions. Then a Harley.
Tell us something about you that we don't know.
I had a paper route when I was 13.
If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
Establish rational world rule, based on a meritocracy that emphasized free enterprise with strong support for education. Take a look at my NationStates country, the Armed Republic of Efate which I've constructed and grown along those lines.
Do you like to dance?
No.
George Bush: is he a power-crazy nut case or someone who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years?
More a religious, easily manipulated idiot. But nut will do.
Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?
Kayleigh
Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?
Peter Douglas
Would you ever consider living abroad?
Certainly.
Will you pass on this survey?
One can hope, unless you mean will I not take it, then it's too late!
