1. Have you ever had braces? Any other teeth trauma?
Wore braces when I was a kid, and hated them. Since HD, my mouth has become a disaster area. I'm missing a few teeth, and there are a few that I know I'm going to lose when I can finally afford to go in and get everything done. One of my lottery fantasies is to go into a special needs dentist (epileptics with dental phobia are best handled under general anesthesia) and have everything taken care of in one fell swoop. I'd deal with feeling like hell for a few weeks.
2. Ever broken any bones?
No, strangely enough.
3. Ever had stitches?
Many! Not counting surgical incisions, I've also had a few lacerations done up. I've even been stapled together.
4. What are the stories behind some of your [physical] scars?
The big one is on my belly, and is from the exploratory laporotomy/spleenectomy that led to my diagnosis in 1995. It's about 8 inches long. I have a triangular scar on my left hand about an inch below the first knuckle of the index finger. It's from lifting a crappy suitcase at SuperShuttle.
5. How do you plan to spend your weekend?
Saturday I'm working 1000-1500, and trying to get a little writing done. Sunday, I'm going to the final game of the annual Bay Bridge Series at SBC Park.
