As I was leaving work, one of my co-workers noticed me pulling GURPS Traveller: Starships of the shelf where I keep my stuff. I showed it to her, explaining that this was the kind of stuff I write myself.

Wandering home, I realized that a royalty check should be due soon.. and wouldn't it be nice if it was around a hundred bucks? I could up my bike budget, treat myself to some pizza, maybe even buy those July 4th Giants tickets. But judging from checks in the recent past, the check would be for roughly $30.

I stop buy the mailbox, and find a letter from SJG.. hey! I got my check! Took it home, opened it to see, and I earned..

$108.72

Ground Forces sold 303 copies in the fouth quarter of 2003! That compares to the anemic sales of less than forty in the third quarter! Woo-Hoo!

I have funds! Yay!

Cool!

Sometimes life throws you a curve ball just to see if you are paying attention.

Congrats.

Obviously you are good at this sort of thing. I'm hoping that inspiration and luck strikes again, and you end up writing more gaming stuff.

Congrats!
Somewhere amongst those checks is my $0.36, it's nice to know the author gets some money besides the initial fee.

Strange. I just got my check, and Rim of Fire suddenly sold like hotcakes last quarter.

I wonder if GURPS Traveller sales in general have spiked now that the line is moving again?
