I would like to go on the record regarding the following subjects:
1) I do not support the "War on Drugs." I think it is not only misguided but in fact poorly planned and executed.
2) I do not support the "War on Terror." I think it is going to cause more terrorist activity than it will ever suppress. Further, I think it to be laughably conceived and executed, even the slipshod version we have now as opposed to what one might term to be a more applicable solution involving rather larger weapons than we've used thusfar.
3) I do not support the current Federal administration as it is being chiefed by a moron who thinks a C grade average is something to be proud of and who could not locate Afghanistan on a map, let alone spell it. I yearn for the days when a President would have had to impress the people with his erudition and record of success, not what we have now, where failures, coverups, and choked-back laughter in the face of sheer stupidity is all we can hope for on the campaign trail.

There. Someone call Tom Ridge of Fatherland... I mean Motherland... I mean DAMMIT Homeland Security and let him read this. Yes, according to Mr. Ridge, I too may be a terrorist. (I'm not, but I doubt that means anything.) Do I support replacing the current nightmare with a new regime? Damn right I do, worldwide to boot.

Okay. If I disappear, you all know what happened. Sad that it's even conceivable in America, isn't it?

Repost if you agree. Let's give the Homeland Insecurity!

... and you have no idea what you're talking about, sport!

It is not misguided, poorly planned and executed!

It is incredibly badly misguided, a Chinese Cluster Fuck of planning ... but flawlessly executed by highly trained and dedicated men and women (who are doing their level best to not hurt themselves laughing as they do so).

I certainly hope you see the error of your ways.

Terribly sorry, Jim. As usual, I managed to leave something out: my respect for those caught up in the mess, the ones having to actually proceed under the undaunted idiocy of our Fearless Leaders. (Fearless of course because they aren't the ones who actually have to go fight.)

I sit corrected

Far be it from me to doubt the word of one of the toughest pirates ever to sail the Spanish Main.. err, the Coast Guard's finest.

Y'all execute your idiotic and clueless orders to perfection.

Semper Paratus!

The fact that all of you are posting this means that you actually don't fear being locked up at all.

What does "worldwide to boot" mean? That you want all the governments in the world to change?

First of all, if you are going to comment in my Journal, please leave a name.

Secondly, this is an act of protest. I don't fear being locked up.. yet. Of course, I'm far more likely to be killed resisting an illegal arrest. But under the current batch of insane laws being pushed by Ashcroft and Co, I could be stripped of my citizendship and deported for supporting a group that the state dislikes.

So, I am taking a stand.

Feel free to reply when you can stand up and tell me who you are. I don't deal with cowards.

While I agree with the sentiments, I disagree with the wording and tone. I've written a lengthier response (http://www.livejournal.com/users/halostatue/1381.html) in my own journal.
