gridloreThe damn MOD is planning to cut ten regiments. Including the Black Watch and the Royal Scots (the Royal Scots were formed in 1633, and are the oldest regiment in the Army!) Other regiments named by the Sunday Telegraph include the King's Own Scottish Borderers, the Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire, one Irish Guards battalion and one Gurkha battalion.
The Gurkhas?!? Has Labour lost it's collective little mind? One of the best light infantry forces in the world and you are going to cut it? Have you morons have no sense of history? Haven't they noticed that they world isn't a very safe place?
