Tomorrow at 1000, and I've checked the bus route already. Unless VTA screws up again. At which point, look for me as Breaking News on CNN.

A bubble just floated in the door and landed on my hand! The neighbor's grand daughter is here, and they are blowing bubbles on the porch. As with most little ones, she is devastatingly cute and knows it.

Odd coincidence on the bubbles, as we had a tied trio of partially deflated balloons drift down in our back "yard" (ten feet of cement, then the Retaining Wall of Towering Doom) yesterday. I have no idea how they got through all the overhanging tree branches and bamboo without getting caught on the way down.

And excellent choice of soundtrack, by the way. That album and especially that song have a weird emotional loading for me, as I played it over and over as my dot-com slowly died around me in early 2001. Gives it an even more wistfully beautiful resonance than the song on its own.
