It suddenly got hot again here in the Almaden Valley. 91 degrees, according to the Weather Underground. I hope this doesn't become a trend.

I almost got to go to today's Giants - Marlins game. A fellow member of the Giant's newsgroup had an extra ticket, and offered it to me gratis along with a ride up. At the last minute, the actual owner of the ticket cleared his schedule. Oh well, considering that we're losing 5-1 in the sixth...

Went over to my mom's place last night for tacos with her and the niece.. who doesn't like spicy food. Weird. We also watched the Niners beat up on the Saints. Football is back!

We didn't win the lottery. The good news is nobody did.

While looking for something else, I found the stack of pre-addressed postcards that Kirsten was taking to Burning Man. Oops.

What I was looking for was the address of the place I have an interview with tomorrow. This is bad. I need to plot out the bus route I'm taking. It's all the way in Santa Clara, and their website does not include an address. I'm going to have to call them early tomorrow and get the address, then work fast to get out of here fast enough to get there on time. (Anybody ever hear of a place called Lagomorphics in Santa Clara?)

There is an amazing amount of trash in this apartment. I shall be moving some of it out while Kiri is away.
