Went to Donna's place for a generic Winter celebration + Hanukkah observance last night. I think I'm getting a bit too predictable. I received a penguin calendar, and cute children's book about a penguin, and a new penguin stuffie.

All greatly appreciated, and the calendar was needed, but I'm developing a rep here!

Well, when someone asked who the patron was onchannel last night who collects penguins there were 3 responses of gridlore, one of The Sniper and one of Mr Kiri. ;-)

Mr. Kiri? I like that. It sounds sinister somehow...

The new stuffie has been named Packer Backer, since he's wearing a green and gold scarf, and even a penguin would need cold weather gear at Lambau Field.

One of my sisters started collecting little lighthouses (or was given a couple) and word got around. She now has over a thousand bits of lighthouse stuff and it makes buying for her a bit easier. Penguins are cool...go with it!
