gridloreOur starting shortstop, Rich Aurillia, had an emergency appendectomy last night, so the Giants called up a replacement from their Fresno farm team. Kid named Cody Ransom.
He can handle the bat, runs well, and shows good instincts playing short. He's also no more than 12 years old... I'm serious! If that guy has ever needed to shave, I'll eat my cap.
