While working on the final outline for TR, I have WinAmp playing random selections from my .mp3 file, which at this point is mostly Bob Dylan and Metallica.
First I get Dylan's Masters of War, as good a song as Mr. Dylan has ever penned.. then up comes Metallica's One, which is based on the book/film Johnny got His Gun.
Two great anti-war songs from two acts that couldn't be more different, and they worked together! The Reese's Peanut Butter Cup effect in music! "You got your folk on my metal! You got your metal in my folk!"

He did own up to borrowing the snippet of the Munchkin song elsewhere on the album, and having to settle up with the current rights holder after the fact.
