- Bartolo Colon balk. Runners on second and third with one out and Edgardo Alfonzo at the plate.

- Edgardo Alfonzo is intentionally walked. Bases loaded with one out and Marvin Benard due up.

- Damaso Marte enters the game for the White Sox with the bases loaded and one out.

- Pinch-hitter Rich Aurilia hits a one-out, Grand Slam to left, scoring Jose Cruz Jr., Pedro Feliz and Edgardo Alfonzo. 8-4 Giants
